Bachel Montessori School has rapidly grown since it was established twelve years ago. The school is located in a safe and severe environment in Lagos, Nigeria. We operate a Nigerian curriculum using the Montessori method of learning tutoring ages of 1 - 11 years old. Our mission is to create an educational environment which meets the academical and intellectual needs of all the pupils.

We provide a well structured, optimum and caring learning environment for our pupil which enables them to develop inherent talents and confidence to realize their full potential. We employ qualified and ever ready teachers who mentor and encourage these children using their expertise and commitment to enable them to achieve their objectives.

Our curriculum includes the preparatory ages 1year,the nursery ages 2- 4yrs, the kindergarten ages 4yrs, primary 1 to 6 ages 5 -11 yrs. We are concerned in teaching children foundational skills that they will carry on and build upon for the rest of their lives through a personalized curriculum that advances with the child at the unique pace.

We can say emphatically, that our pupils read and write as early as 3 - 4 years old. Our children study Numeracy, Literacy, Maths, English, Science, Social norms, Health habits, Vocational training, Practical life, Sensorial education, just to mention but a few. We also expose them to foreign language, culture, sports while moulding them intellectually, socially, logically, physically,morally and mentally. We create an environment of respect, love, trust, joy, high educational standards, independence and responsibility. This is a place where learning comes to life.

Dr Maria Montessori stated,"The secret of good teaching is to regard the child's Intelligence as a fertile field in which seeds may be sown, to grow under the heat of flaming imagination. Our aim is not only to make the child understand but still less to force him to memorize, then to touch his Imagination as to enthuse him to his inner-most core. We do not want complacent pupils, but eager ones. We seek to sow life in the child rather than theories, to help him in his growth, mental and emotional as well as physical, and for that we must offer grand and loffy ideas to the human mind".
